IEEE Young Researchers Symposium 2024

Connecting young careers

Mons (Belgium), 1-2 February 2024

IEEE Young Researchers Symposium

The goal of YRS is to encourage discussions and collaborations between researchers, students and industry in electrical power engineering, power electronics and industrial applications.

Supported by the IEEE Joint BENELUX Chapter of Industrial Applications Society (IAS), Power Electronics Society (PELS) and Power Engineering Society (PES), the YRS 2024 symposium offers a unique opportunity for young researchers to present their scientific work to each other, senior researchers and interested people from industry. Participants can therefore gain conference experience along with useful feedback on their work, while establishing new contacts.

This conference will be held in Mons, on February 1-2, 2024.

Scope

The YRS 2024 will bring together in Mons early career engineers, scientists and technologists from academic and research institutes who are eager to lead the innovation in the energy world.

This event will focus on the research activities of young researchers within the Benelux, and provide them an opportunity to explore potential research collaborations across the laboratories.

All young researchers are encouraged to submit an abstract. There will be a selection process before submitting the final 4-page manuscript. Selected papers will be presented in oral sessions during the YRS 2024 conference.
